Consumption and Preparation

Consumption

The minimum daily consumption of Agaricus blazei Murill should be about 10 or 20 grams.

However, the amount can be adjusted according to one's own health condition. For example, someone fighting in his third or fourth stages of cancer should consider doubling or tripling the minimum consumption.

Tea's preparation

Approximately 20 to 30 grams (3 days' volume) of dried Agaricus Blazei Murril  should be placed in about two liters of cold water for about 2 to 3 hours. Preferably using a ceramic or hot grass pot, boil and simmer under lower heat until the extract evaporates to about two thirds of it's original volume. Remove the mushroom and after cooling off, keep it refrigerated and consume it within a few days. Removed mushrooms still can be consumed in soup or salad or any suitable cooking. It will still contain good nutrients that whole family can enjoy.

Consumption guideline

One should have a cup heated or cold once in the morning and once in the evening, possibly in place of an after meal tea as a daily routine. For children or someone who may have difficulty in drinking liquid with a mushroom taste, one could mix it with juice or milk to camouflage the taste.

Storage

Dried Agaricus Blazei Murril  should be kept in an air tight container such as plastic ware with sealable lids perferably with desiccant agent. For long term storage, the air tight container should be refrigerated.
